How Many People will it feed?

One pig will comfortably do up to 150 people for a buffet or sandwich type event. We recommend 100-150 people for value for money per head but you can have as few people as you want just bear in mind the cost is the same so it works out more per person.

How long does it take to cook a pig?

It takes approximately 7 hours

Do you pre-cook the pig?

No. We cook the pig on the day, at the venue. This ensures quality plus people enjoy seeing it.

Do you cook inside?

No, the spit roast machine cooks off propane gas so we prefer to be outside for ventilation but we can cook it in a marquee as long as we are near an entrance, again to ensure good ventilation. We can bring it inside to carve if requested and the venue is suitable.

How Much Room do you need?

We bring our own gazebo with us so an area of approx 3 meters by 3 meters will be fine for our setup

 

What do I need to supply?

We bring everything we need with us but it is helpful to have  access to a 13amp power supply to run the machine. If we need to run off our generator then we do add a surcharge of £35.

Are you registered?

Yes, we are registered with Wakefield Council , we have our Food & Hygiene Certification and we also are members of NCASS, the National Caterers Association. We are fully insured and also provide risk assessments for each venue.So don't worry, just relax and enjoy the event!

How far will you travel?

We are on a good motorway network so we can cover most of the north, we do however just add a small fuel charge for venues more than 25 miles away.
